I never thought doing the right thing would hurt so bad; my heart is broken, and it feels so sad. I found the man of my dreams; he challenges me and makes me beam. My life has become empty, and I feel so lost. Our relationship has now come at a cost. As the tears stream down my face, I smile, knowing you are in a better place. My mind can’t be distracted from thinking of your smile; it is with love that I leave you without denial.

Although the pain is deep, your happiness is what I seek. I am grateful for the time we shared, and I will never forget how much you meant to me. I will always be here to catch you if you fall. My arms will be wide open for a hug when you call.
